Depending on your company’s professional development policy, you may be able to get some or all of your Growclass learning covered.

Not sure what your company offers? ****Look for policies or keywords like Professional Development, Learning & Development, Continuing Education, Tuition Reimbursement, Education Allowance, Conference & Events Budget, Employee Development, or Training Budget.

Still not sure? Ask your manager or People/HR team if there’s a professional development or education budget you can use toward a certification, course, workshop, or industry event.

Asking for professional development doesn’t need to feel scary! We’ve put together a few templates to make the ask a whole lot easier.

1. Plant the seed — Ease into your request by asking before you ask, so it doesn’t come as a surprise to your manager. You can start with a quick message on Slack or Teams. Feel free to use this template:

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. After completing a Growclass certification (Growth Marketing or AI Marketing & Strategy), you’ll receive a certificate you can share with your employer and add to your LinkedIn profile and resume.

Can my company pay Growclass directly?

If you need help with invoicing, reimbursement or getting the right information to your company, email [email protected] and our team can help.

Can my company cover a workshop or event instead of a certification?

Professional development policies vary by employer, but many companies have budgets for training, courses, conferences and events. Check your company’s policy or ask your manager or People team.

Can Growclass train my whole team?

Yep. If you’re looking for training for multiple employees or a workshop for your organization, head over to Growclass for Teams and tell us what your team needs.

What happens after I get approval?

Once you’ve enrolled in one of the courses or registered for an event, you’ll receive an invoice that you can submit to your company to get reimbursed.

After you’ve completed a full certification (Growth Marketing or AI Marketing & Strategy), you will receive a Certificate of Completion to file away as proof of all your hard work— or of course, share it on your LinkedIn and celebrate with your peers!!
